Bicycle Guide

Details

The bicycle guide will ride in front of runners to make sure they know where to go. The bicycle guide will need to be physically fit enough to ride faster than the runners and also need their own bicycle.

Details

Start/Finish line volunteers will help with several important jobs like signing in runners, handing out race packets, and handing out prizes! Volunteers will have each job explained to them by the volunteer coordinator and may help out with several jobs during the race.

Medical Volunteer

Details

According to National Park Service permitting regulations, we need a medical volunteer that is CPR certified. The volunteer will be at the start/finish line and will help with other tasks, but will be ready to assist in the case of a medical emergency. We will need proof of CPR certification before the race.

Details

Great photos are extremely important for a race because runners like to see their photos and it helps us with race marketing in future years. We are looking for anyone who enjoys photography (does not need to be a professional photographer). The photographer should bring their own camera. Photos will be given to BGB and posted for runners.

Details

Because all of the 10K volunteers will be meeting at a separate location from the start/finish and the rest of the race organizing staff, we need a volunteer coordinator who can be independent and take initiative while supervising 15-20 volunteers.

10K Water Station

Details

Water is important to runners! Water station volunteers will fill water cups and pass out water to runners. After the race is over volunteers will help clean up any discarded water cups.
