Sign-in Station

Cheerfully greet all participants and check them into the race on race day.
Must meet at the race location at least 90 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Challenge Station Supervisor

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Supervise volunteers at assigned station sections to make sure the volunteers understand and adhere to race rules.
Provide volunteer assistance and support.
Additionally, supervise participants as they move through each station.
Explain how to negotiate each task.
Ensure "elite" competitors are adhering to the standards - and if not make them start over!

Challenge Station Attendant

At least 12 more volunteers needed.

Details

Supervise participants at assigned station as they move through the station to ensure participants complete the challenge safely, correctly, and to the best of their ability.
If necessary, explain how to negotiate each task.
Encourage each participant that comes through the station!
Ensure "elite" competitors are adhering to the standards - and if not make them start over!

Set-up Assistant

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist with the set-up of the stations the evening prior and the morning of the event. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. safely and get a little dirty.

Tear-down/Clean-up

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist with the tear-down and clean-up of the stations. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. safely and get a little dirty.

Road Guard

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Stand as a road guard to ensure the challenge participants are steered clear of any traffic impediments.

Water Station Attendants

No volunteer spots remaining.

Details

There are bound to be some thirsty participants on this course. Why not be the person who offers them a refreshing drink to help them continue toward the finish line.
