The course if professionally flagged, meaning that volunteer flaggers will not be responsible for stopping cars. Your job as volunteer flagger is to tell runners where to go and to stop runners before crossing on specific non busy roads for the very minimal cars that may come through.
This is a fun position where you get to cheer runners on, we invite crazy clothing and high energy people to get our runners excited!
Volunteers will need to be able to drive themselves to and from their spots, meeting at the start line, we will give you the information you need and then send you to your spot before the start at 9 am. When a sweeper comes through you will be dismissed from your post and you can head to the finish line for your free breakfast at the Boat house.
