Experience in trail running and familiarity with course-marking preferred. Volunteers will run the course before it is open to participants to check that course markings are still up where they need to be and that nothing on the course has been vandalized. Pre-Runners will also check for any hazards on the course.

Volunteers will run the course or a portion of the course to take down all course markings, clean up the trails as needed and make sure that all runners have made it back safely, and pull runners who are not going to finish in the cut-off time.
