Details
Volunteers will positioned at Check Points along the course. Primary duties will be to keep track of Team #s as they pass, deliver any aid, and ensure racer safety. Volunteers may have snowmobile support to assist them with transportation to their Check Point, but they should be prepared to travel under their own power via touring/snowshoeing.
Heart Rock volunteers should be qualified mountaineers possessing the skills and knowledge able to travel on a glacier. While Heart Rock is arguably the coolest aid station in any North American race, it is certainly the most technical. If you are interested in volunteering at this spot, contact our race organizing team with a quick resume and we will give you the password to register.
CP Volunteers will setup a tent at a bench at 8,400', but we will also have volunteers posted at the top turnaround at Heart Rock.
If volunteers wanted, you could setup camp and stay at the aid station Friday night and get to have a relaxed Saturday morning instead of getting up super early.
