Details

Transition volunteers will help athletes transition from the swim to bike and bike to run. The volunteers will ensure the safety by making sure participants are using correct entrances to the area as well as wearing correct equipment (helmets, shoes).

Location

Transition volunteers should check in at the Peace Park Pavilion at 7:15am on Saturday August 26th to help participants set up their bike and equipment in transition area.

Swim Assistant High Priority

Details

Swim volunteers will help with the start of the race by showing participants which lane to go, instructing what to do, and keeping the path clear for them to transition from the swim to the bike.

Location

Swim volunteers should check in at 8:15am on Saturday August 26th at Rockport Pool.

Bike Route Monitor High Priority

Details

Bike volunteers help ensure safety and organization on the bike course. Volunteers will be stationed at various points around the track to make sure there are no accidents and help participants with where to go. Some volunteers will be used to track each lap a participant does around the course to help keep track of when a participant has completed the bike course.

Bike volunteers should check in at Peace Park Pavilion at 8:15am on Saturday August 26th.

Run volunteers will be stationed throughout the course to help participants navigate the run course and help in any accidents. These volunteers will also help at the finish line with finisher medals
