Follow Half Marathon last place runner until sweeper (course pick-up) truck/trailer catches up to you. You will be driving quite slow, so have your hazards on an pull over to let people pass you. There are two trails that particpants go on, the fitness trail (Ski Tow Rd. entrance) wait there until the runner you were following comes back out. There is another trail on the west side - the runner will enter on Oakland Ave. by some yellow barricades. They will come out at the West Side Beach parking lot. Wait for your runner in the West Side Beach parking lot. Please keep a good distance away from this runner. Just because you are following them you don't want to be on their tail - that would be very annoying and make them feel bad likely. Keep a good block behind them (as long as you can see them you are good). *Please see Nan after you check in with the volunteer coordinator so that we can go over the route and how to determine who is your last runner. Text the cleanup crew leader with periodic updates regarding the location of the last runner. Cleanup crew leader is Will Kline at 920-676-3197

You will also receive a printout of this route in your volunteer materials.

Lastly, there is a possibility you will need to give an injured runner a ride. Please have masks available for yourself and runner.
