Packet pick-up volunteers will either help direct participants to gather their materials, assign bib numbers via a very easy app, or hand out race shirts and other race materials. Saturday packet pick-up volunteers will also help packet up the supplies at the end of pick-up and move tables around for post-race food and beverage service. You will be e-mailed any additional instructions the week of the event. Please consider extending your morning and additionally signing up for Finish Line tasks. Thank you!

Water Stop - Marine Drive High Priority

Water stop volunteers will set up the water stop at arrival which includes setting up the tables, mixing the gatorade, pre-filling cups with water and gatorade and packing up the materials at the site once all participants are through. All materials are provided by the race. Additionally, you are an available person in case of a runner emergency. You will be e-mailed a map and any additional instructions the week of the event.

Finish Line High Priority

Finish line volunteers will hand out medals to finishers, keep water bottles stocked on the tables for finishers, and help direct finishers to the medical tent if needed. You will be e-mailed any additional instructions the week of the event. Please consider starting your morning a little earlier and signing up for Saturday packet pick-up, too. Thank you!

Post-Race Food & Beverage High Priority

Details

Food & Beverage volunteers will help set-up, serve and monitor food & beverages to participants after they finish the event. This includes keeping food and beverage items stocked on the tables, keeping the area tidy, replacing trash bags as needed and assisting in packing up the supplies at the end of the event. You will be e-mailed any additional instructions the week of the event.

Course Marshal: Half Marathon Turn Around, Wiouwash Tr High Priority

Details

A course marshal is located at key spots along the race course to help direct runners, an available person in case of a runner emergency, to keep an awareness of traffic relative to the participants and to cheer on the participants! You will be e-mailed a map and any additional instructions the week of the event.
