VOLUNTEERS MUST BE AT HERITAGE PORT ON FRIDAY, JUNE 9TH BY 4pm. ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL RECEIVE T-SHIRTS. PACKET PICK-UP SHIFT WILL END AT 7PM. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HANDING OUT RACE GOODY BAGS AND T-SHIRTS TO PARTICIPANTS OF THE RACE.

Computer Registration (Friday)

June 9, 2017

Details

Volunteers helping with computer registration will be located in the timer's trailer and will be responsible for entering participants into the system for registration. Volunteers for this position should arrive to Heritage Port by 4pm on Friday, June 9th, 2017. This shift will end at 7pm.

Computer Registration (Saturday)

Details

Volunteers helping with computer registration will be located in the timer's trailer and will be responsible for entering participants into the system for registration. Volunteers for this position should arrive to Heritage Port by 6:30am on Saturday, June 10th, 2017. This shift will end at 8:30am.

Directing Race Route

Details

Volunteers will meet with Deputy Chief Kimball prior to the race where he will explain job responsibilities and location. Volunteers for this position will be driven to their locations throughout the race route and picked up after the race. Volunteers for this positions will be responsible for directing runners/walkers which direction to go. Each volunteer will have an arrow and point participants in the correct direction. Volunteers should arrive to Heritage Port by 7:30am.

Tear Down

June 10, 2017

Details

Volunteers will be responsible for break down of canopies (6-8) and tables, loading canopies and tables onto trucks, loading boxes of extras into vehicles, etc. Volunteers for this position should be at Heritage Port by 9:30am. Shift will last approximately an hour.

Water Station

This volunteer task is full.

Details

This water station will be located half-way through the race on the island side of the suspension bridge. Volunteers can report directly to the station no later than 7:30am. Volunteers will be responsible for cleaning up their station when shift is over (when last participant has cleared this station).
