Run for Ukraine

Orca Running/Evergreen Trail Runs believes that running can make the world a better place. Right now, the people of Ukraine need help. We can't stand physically next to them, but we can raise money to help alleviate present and future suffering and help resist the violence of Putin's invasion. 

Here's how Run for Ukraine works:

1. Sign up. It's $10, and you choose from a list of seven non-profits for your $10 to go to. 100% of your registration cost goes to your selected non-profit and it is tax deductible.
2. Optionally, you can choose to donate additional money to any or all of the seven non-profits when you register.
3. Any time from midnight on Thursday, March 4th to 11:59pm on Monday, March 7th, go for a run or walk. We'd encourage you to run/walk at least 2 miles, but any distance is fine. We also encourage you to wear blue and yellow and invite your friends!
4. Enter your name and distance in miles at this form: Run for Ukraine Mileage
5. For every mile, we will donate an additional $0.50, spread out equally across the seven non-profits. Our cap is $5,000. Help us hit our goal by running or walking!
6. Post to social media or to Strava with the hashtag #irunforukraine and tag @orcarunning and @evergreentrail
7. On Tuesday, March 8th, we'll email everyone with the final tally of miles and dollars!
