Description
The Chelan Chase 5K course is USATF Certified, and it is a chip timed event.
Proceeds benefit the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Mammography Department and the Wellness Place.
Lake Chelan Community Hospital: A percentage of the proceeds go to the Mammography Department to provide for mammograms (screening and reading), at no personal cost, to all individuals who are uninsured or under-insured.
Wellness Place: A percentage of the proceeds go to provide support to cancer patients here in NorthCentral Washington. Services include free wigs, head coverings, nutritional supplements, compression glove/sleeve assistance, pre-scription assistance, lodging & travel assistance, fitness classes, and support groups. Wellness Place strives to meet the needs of all cancer patients.
