Description

(REGISTRATION IS FOR DONATION ONLY but hey if you want to come run with me you would be pretty cool)

This is a first time (mock) 100 mile race on the Spokane Indian Reservation in Eastern Washington. The race starts at the confluence of the Columbia and Spokane Rivers and from there is a long steep climb to the tallest peak on the Reservation where you can see as far as Airway Heights. From there is a steep decent into the most remote area on the reservation. Then the race goes to the other end of the reservation near Highway 231. That is a turn around point and then the course goes down through a housing community down past Little Falls Dam. After this the course passes the buffalo pasture near the river and then begins a climb back into remote country topping the next two tallest peaks, Wellpinit Lookout Mountain and finishing on Spokane Mountain.

The proceeds from this race will be donated to Renew Earth Running. They are a non profit centered around supporting the land back movement. Through the fundraising efforts of the ReNew Earth Running Team we will help fund environmental protection and healing efforts led by Tribal Nations and other Indigenous organizations. Renew Earth Running hopes to provide assistance throughout Indian Country and have a positive impact on the environment.
