The Kittitas Environmental Education Network (KEEN) is challenging you and your family to spend 100 hours, or more!, outside before Earth Day 2021 (April 22, 2021)!
This challenge is to unplug, get out, enjoy the change in seasons as we move from winter into spring, move your body, and connect with nature! This idea is based on the national movement for 1000 Hours Outside...we thought we'd start a little smaller! Grab your kids, dogs, spouse/partner, outdoor gear, and sense of adventure and get outside!
Everything counts...playing in the yard, shoveling snow, walking, jogging, x-country skiing, cycling, snowshoeing, dancing and hula hooping in your driveway!
When you register, we'll send you a tracking form to use...color in a circle for each hour you spend outside. We'll also send you a link to FB and Instagram so you can share your adventures with other Outsiders.
Everyone who registers will receive a specially designed 100 Hours Outside with KEEN hat!
