Join us October 24th for the return of Monster Mash 5K!
Help us raise a MONSTROUS amount of support for local students on October 24th! ISF Monster Mash 5K is a community-based, family-friendly event that raises funds for programs that serve students attending all 27 ISD schools.
We welcome all-ages and abilities. Convenient onsite parking, phased start times, and a professionally chip-timed course ensure a great experience for all. You’ll appreciate the flat, paved, out-and-back route whether you’re setting a new 5K PR or enjoying a brisk walk together as a family! Bring your creativity – festive costumes are encouraged!
This event sells out every year, so don't wait to register! Every registration submitted by October 11th receives the option of receiving a 2026 Monster Mash technical race tee & medal. Option to waive the shirt (No-Shirt Registration), if wearing monsters isn't your jam - more of your registration fee will go to support students! Registrants are eligible for placement awards, receive free event photos, and raffle tickets for prizes! See below for details.

Avoid the lines on race day by picking up your packet early!
To avoid elementary school bus traffic in the area, Early Packet Pickup is available on Friday, Oct. 23rd any time between 4-7 pm at the Issaquah Schools Foundation located at 4225 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE, 98008. Parking in front of the building is limited, so please view the additional overflow parking next door at Sunset Elementary (circled yellow areas). OK to pick up extra packets for friends and family - no ID required.

Parking & Route Info
Due to the number of registered racers, we strongly encourage that you arrive early and/or carpool if possible. If you need to pick up your packet the morning of the race, please allow for extra time for this, in the event there are lines.
There is parking available adjacent to the Start/Finish line at Lake Sammamish Boat Launch, which is a WA State parks. These parks require a Discover Pass for onsite parking. If you do not already have a Discover Pass, you may purchase a day pass for $10 at an onsite kiosk. Alternatively, you may purchase an annual Discover Pass at local stores such as REI and Fred Meyer for $45 . Free overflow parking is available at the ISD Admin building parking lot, located .8 mile from the Lake Sammamish Boat Launch. If you choose this option, please allow adequate time to walk to the start of the race - Monster Mash 5K starts promptly at 10 AM.
