Join us for the second annual Maple Valley Turkey Trot 5K benefiting the Maple Valley Food Bank - but this time, it's VIRTUAL! This event was organized with the intention of coming together as a community during the Thanksgiving holiday to help those in need and all proceeds from the event benefit the Maple Valley Food Bank & Emergency Services. Though we so badly wish we could gather for a big Thanksgiving Day event, we are excited that technology continues to connect us and that we are able to do this virtually! All ages are welcome! $30 registration (includes t-shirt).
The moment you’ve all been waiting for! We’ve received several questions regarding packet pickup for the race. Thank you for your patience as we worked to identify our options.
You have several opportunities to pick up your materials, but we hope you choose to come to our kickoff pickup event on Saturday, November 21 from 9 AM to 1 PM at Columbia Bank Maple Valley.
Columbia Bank, our Presenting Sponsor, is located at 23924 225th Way SE, Maple Valley, WA 98038.
You will be able to pick up shirts, bibs, etc. for your whole family at this drop-in event. We will also have the Nomos Smoothie Bowl truck onsite, so save room for breakfast or lunch! If you registered after November 2, please note that we will try our best to accommodate your t-shirt size preference, but sizes are not guaranteed.
Just look for our Maple Valley Food Bank tent and wear a mask when exiting your vehicle.
If you’d like to pick up your packet at an earlier date, you can visit us at the Cedar Lodge (the building attached to the Maple Valley Food Bank) on Thursday, November 19 from 3 PM to 6 PM.
If neither date works, please reach out to email@example.com to coordinate a different pickup time.
The Turkey Trot is ‘open’ from 6 AM on Saturday, November 21 to 6 PM on Friday, November 27. You may complete the 5K at any time and in any place! We have heard from families heading to the beach, the mountains, and their neighborhood trails. Whatever you choose to do, make sure you wear your Turkey Trot tee and snap a few pictures to share with us!
Recording Your Time
We’re bringing you RaceJoy as part of our official Turkey Trot virtual experience! If you’d like to track your time (in real time) please see the how-to instructions linked here. RaceJoy is set to provide progress alerts at each mile marker, tracking your distance, average pace, and ETA. Another email regarding RaceJoy will go out in the days leading up to the event to walk you through setup, etc. (as it does require the app!).
If you don’t want to track your time using RaceJoy, you’re welcome to upload your finishing time on the Results page of our race website. Simply follow the link and click ‘submit virtual results.'
