Description
The Puddle Jump is an annual 5K or 10K family and dog friendly event hosted by the PARC Foundation. This fun run first began with a grant from Thurston County Public Health to work with employers to promote changes in their work environment and culture to promote employee health.
Over the years it has evolved to become one of Thurston County's best ways to promote outdoor recreation and physically- engaging family fun. Open to kids, adults and dogs of all ages, with t-shirts and prizes.
The event starts at Horizons Elementary in Lacey, runs along the Chehalis-Western Trail and returns for the finish at the elementary school.
The Puddle Jump is put on by and for the benefit of the PARC Foundation of Thurston County, which is dedicated to preserving the vital green spaces of our natural surroundings, expanding and supporting works of art and artists in our community, ensuring all citizens have access to recreational opportunities, and celebrating cultural activity in Thurston County.
