Description

The coolest virtual challenge ever! In this year of social distancing and isolation brought on by COVID 19, there is no better time to show your support for freedom  than to participate in the Pasco's Grand Old 4th of July 20-Mile Virtual Challenge. The challenge will begin on Friday, June 19 and participants will have the next two weeks, until mid-night on July 3, to complete the 20 miles. Participate any way you want! You can walk a mile or two a day, go on a few short runs each week, or finish the whole thing in just a couple of long runs, How you complete the 20 miles is up to you and your fitness level!

On the website we've placed a virtual map so that you can track your progress toward the 20 mile goal. To track your miles you must login to your account and post your completed miles. Feeling ambitious? Continue logging miles beyond the goal and see how far you can run before the July 3 deadline!

A portion of every registration will go toward purchasing gift-cards to support local businesses. These gift cards will then be given out at random. By registering for the challenge you will automatically be entered into the drawing. If you are not feeling up to the challenge or are just unable to participate in the challenge, but would still like a chance to win one of the gift cards, you can, as NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY to enter! To enter the drawing simply click the "Questions?" button below and send us the following information: Full Name, Address, Phone Number, & Email with the Subject "I would like to enter the drawing". All entries must be received by the Registration Deadline of 11:59pm on July 1. Gift Card winners will be drawn and contacted via email & phone on Thursday, July 2 and will have until Tuesday, July 7 to respond before they are disqualified and another winner is drawn in their place. So get outside and enjoy the freedom of the outdoors as you complete the 20-mile challenge and help local businesses reach freedom from these trying economic times!

Speaking of helping others, you could also support veterans by using this challenge to train for the Camp Patriot 5K Fun Run that takes place on July 4th! This year the Camp Patriot 5K Run has been converted to a virtual run, learn more and register HERE
