FEBRUARY 3RD, 2024 - RACE INFORMATION

The Port Angeles Marathon Association is excited for the Elwha Bridge Run on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024. Included in this email are reminders and resources for information you need to make your event seamless.

RACE BIB PICK-UP
HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO PICK UP ON FRIDAY IF POSSIBLE
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd- 4:30-6:00 PM - Come down to Angeles Brewing Supplies & Taproom (116 N. Lincoln Street, Port Angeles, WA 98362) to pick up your race bib.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd- 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM - Pick up your bib at the starting line the morning before the race on the pedestrian (lower part) Lower Elwha Bridge.
SHUTTLES TO THE RACE START
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING AT THE START OF THE RACE - Participants can be dropped off at the west side of the bridge on Elwha River Road. Shuttles will be provided to all participants and spectators who park at EXTREME SPORTS PARK (2917 W. Edgewood Dr., Port Angeles, WA 98363). Shuttles will start at 7:15 and run throughout the event. Make sure that you leave plenty of time to get to the start of the race and pick up your packet (if you aren't able to get it on Friday). The buses will depart approximately every 15 minutes.
*There is a limited amount of handicapped parking at the bottom of Crown Z Water Road off of Elwha River Road.

There are mile markers along the course for both the 5K and 10K. There will also be a large turn around sign at the 5K and 10K turn arounds. Thank you to the amazing volunteers for hosting a water & Gatorade station at the 5K and 10K turn arounds.
RESULTS AND PHOTOS
All participants will have official timed results and free professional race photos. Results and photos will be available to check online after the race. You can scan the QR code on your bib to check your results and photos. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female for each race and 1st, 2nd and 3rd for male and female in each age category. You must be present to receive your awards. Awards will not be mailed out. There will be no ceremony, be sure to check your results and pick up your award in you placed before you leave.

If you need to make any changes to your registration you can make those changes HERE! You will need to login to your RunSignUp account and then select manage reservations. At the bottom of the page you can transfer events. Any other change requests should be emailed to the Race Director at rtp@runthepeninsula.com.
BAG CHECK
We will have bags available for you to use and write your bib number on, if you don't have your own bag. You can drop if off before the race and pick it up after.
