Description

VIKING FEST is coming to town and so is our annual Road Race! Come seize the day and start your Saturday, May 18th morning right with this perfect family-friendly event for all ages in our fun road race run. Complete your choice of a 5 Mile, 1 Mile, and Kids Dash along our beautiful Poulsbo waterfront.

Partnering with NK Fishline, we encourage and appreciate these most needed donation items that will be collected at Poulsbo Recreation Center for packet pickup week and on race day: NK Most Needed Items

Please note per registration, there will be a processing fee included.

Saturday, May 18th: Day of Race

Details by Race: we encourage you to get there 15 minutes prior the start time

  • 5-Mile: starts at 9:00am @ 6th Avenue NE & NE Harrison St (next to Hostmark Community Center)
    • 5-mile halfway mark: On Norum Rd NE: there will be a water station and EMT positioned off of the Lemolo Shore Dr NE curve (near Lemolo Vintage Market)
    • 5-mile awards ceremony at 10:00am at Finish Line 
  • 1-Mile: starts at 9:05 am @ 6th Avenue NE & NE Harrison St (next to Hostmark Community Center
    • 1-mile awards ceremony at 9:35am at Finish Line 
  • Kids Dash: starts at 10:15am and starts next to the Front Street downtown clock, assembling at the Marina Market parking lot
  • Finish Line: On Front Street (near the NW Dog).
    • Get a printout of your finishing time.
    • Receive a finisher ribbon.
    • Grab free electrolytes, water, a snack, and a photo at the finish.
    • Medals are provided to the top 3 finished based on gender and age brackets: click to take look at last years times
    • A special prize is also given to the top 3 fastest runners
  • Yes, dogs and strollers are allowed. We ask that those participants start in the back.
  • Race ends 11am. 

Road Closures: Starting at 7:00am, road closures will prevent car access at the following intersections, also outlined in our interactive turn-by-turn map

  • NE Hostmark St and 6th Ave
  • NE Hostmark St and 4th Ave
  • Jensen Way NE and Moe St NE
  • Front St NE and King Olav V.

Parking: Is limited due to the mentioned road closures. Paid parking available at Gateway Fellowship. Limited parking at Lion's Park. We encourage being dropped off at Gateway Fellowship, or Oyster Plant Park

Bathrooms: 2 porta-potties are at Lion's Park on Saturday, May 18th.

Packet Pick-up

  • To pick up your chip-timed bib/purchases, have your registration details ready to share, including the distance you are running, first and last name(s), and the age(s) of each runner/participant. Click here to double-check your registration details
  • If you bought a shirt, please provide the e-mail that was used to purchase the shirt(s) along with the T-shirt sizes.
  • If picking up packets for others, have the e-mail that was used to register.

  • RACE DAY, Saturday May 18: 7:00am-8:30am at Poulsbo Lion's Park | 18270 Fjord Dr N

Kitsap Physical Therapy has teamed up with Kitsap CrossFit and offering a FREE 7-week follow-along training program for our road racers, with the focus for our 5-Mile runners in mind!

Kara is a physical therapist and partner at the KPT Poulsbo location and will be leading this free program.
