This paved trail around the lake is smooth and great for families.
Parking: The main parking lot can easily fill up on a busy day. There is also overflow parking across the street and street parking available.
Accessibility: There are 3 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of 7th Street Southeast at the northwest end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles.
The trail surface is paved asphalt and smooth. It is typically at least 8 feet wide. Much of the trail is estimated to be in the gentle (3% or less) grade category. This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or stroller users. There are benches and picnic tables along the route for resting.
