MGY Virtual 5K 2024

This is a virtual race. Run/walk anytime, anyplace you want. You do not have to wait to get your shirt to start! This is a great way to get active and support MGY and our Community Health Workers from wherever you are!  

Here’s how a virtual 5K works: register first, then complete 3.1 miles anytime between June 1- June 30 at your own pace, with your own activity, wherever you like, whenever you like. Want to bike at Saint Marks? Sweet. Hike at Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park? Do it. Rollerblade around your neighborhood? Do a 5k Pub Crawl in your city?  Heck yes!  We'll even help you plan it!  (But drink safely!) We support you! If you want to break it up into segments, by all means – go for it! Tell your friends, invite your family! It’s open to all ages and fitness levels!

The first batch of shirts for those who register before May 24th will arrive approx. June 12th,  the 2nd batch for those who register after that will come a bit later! 

Because this is a virtual event, you can walk, run, bike, blade, skip or fly your 5k anywhere you’d like. We encourage those with dogs (we love fur baby pics!) to include their fur family on their 5K adventures! 🐕

Price: $40 Before June 1st   --  $50 after June 1st

We encourage those interested to post your finish time on our RunSignUp event, click on the results, and click on Submit Virtual Results. Finish times should be posted by the end of the month to qualify for a MGY 5K T-Shirt, but are not mandatory.
