The first Head for the Cure 5K was held in Kansas City in 2003. Since then, more than 80,000 people have joined oue efforts to defeat brain cancer step by step! In addition, over 25,000 donors have supported our 5K participants. Together we have raised in excess of $6 million!
Head for the Cure is proud of its growth, and will present twenty 5K events this year. A Head for the Cure 5K is as inspiring as it is fun! Join us to honor a friend or loved one, and to celebrate the strength and enduring spirit of those who fight!
Whether you're a casual walker, a competitive runner or anything in between, a Head for the Cure 5K is an event you don't want to miss.
