Derby Dash is back for another family friendly, fun-filled Friday night run along the trail! After the Derby Dash 5K there’s lots of fun to be had on Friday Night at Derby Days. From 4-10pm you can quench your thirst at the Beer & Wine Garden featuring local beer, wine, cider and delicious bites, soar to new heights at the carnival, rock out to local bands on the Main Stage, test your skills with some fun lawn games and indulge in traditional fair foods from our vendors. Costume Contest!

This year at Derby Days we are honoring Heroes of all kinds and to celebrate we invite you to dress up as your favorite superhero for our Derby Dash 5K. Use your super speed in the Derby Dash then fly over to the Beer & Wine Garden for a friendly costume contest. Join us at 6:30pm on Friday July 13th for the Derby Dash 5K. The winner of the costume contest will be announced in the Beer & Wine Garden at 8:00pm

Race Day Details

Schedule of events:

4-10pm: Live music, vendors, beer and wine garden (view schedule at www.redmondderbydays.com)

5-6:15pm: Onsite registration/day of packet pickup

6:30pm: Race Starts

7:30pm: Awards

8:00pm: Costume Contest in Beer & Wine Garden

Strollers and well-behaved, leashed dogs are permitted. 

Registration includes super comfy shirt, timing, and finish line food/giveaways.

Course Map

The start/finish line is located behind Redmond’s City Hall. Competitive racers will find a 5km course that is flat, fast, and USATF certified. A professional timer will be on hand to record official finish times and to allocate prizes to the top finishers in each age category. The Dash is also great for groups of families and friends who wish to jog or walk the course. The race format will have multiple waves of participants, so everyone will have a pacing group that is just right.
