220 Mile to Rebuild Lives - Virtual Run
Event Description
Last year, many of you joined me on the 102-mile run through Seattle and donated to the fundraiser, and with your incredible support, we’ve raised $22,000 for Ukrainians who have lost limbs due to war. This year, I'm more than doubling the distance, 220 miles\355 km, because the need has only grown, and the resilience of the Ukrainian people deserves nothing less.
Since I'll be running in Iceland this time, joining me in person might be a bit of a stretch :). So instead, I'm inviting you to take part in a virtual run of 220 miles, anywhere you want. Just kidding! Run whatever distance you can but pick something that genuinely challenges and excites you.
My mission remains clear: raise funds that directly change lives and to raise awareness about the challenges faced by individuals with limb amputations, the staggering medical costs, daily mobility struggles, and the often-invisible battle for mental health. And, with you help we can unite donors, volunteers, and those affected by the war in Ukraine into a shared cause that fosters hope and encouragement.
So please join me on my journey.
Last year, we proved what this community can do. This year, let's go further, 220 miles further.
