From the pitch to pavement, the Unity Loop 5K virtual challenge will take place between May 16 - July 15.

How it works:
Run or Walk: Complete 3.1 miles of Seattle's new Unity Loop designed to connect our city’s most iconic downtown neighborhoods creating a celebration of Seattle's diversity and community spirit. Whether you run the full loop or choose your own path, you'll be part of something special.

Your Schedule, Your Time: Complete your race anytime between May 16 – July 15

Track and Share: Use your fitness tracking app or a simple screenshot and submit your results to complete the challenge

Your virtual registration includes a Unity Loop 5K medal, shirt, bib, and a downloadable finisher certificate - all mailed to your doorstep

Virtual Race Registration - $45 (through race day)

By registering for the virtual race, it means you plan to participate on your own. Virtually you choose your race course and time you decide to participate!

After you've registered for the Unity Loop 5K, you’ll receive a “referral” link in the registration confirmation page and via your confirmation email. This is YOUR specific registration link.

All you have to do is share with your friends. Share it via email, text, Facebook, instagram, snail mail - it doesn't matter how you share it... just share it. Once 5 friends register for the run (using your referral link) you’ll get a free entry!

5 friends, that's all it takes - All you need are 5 people to use your referral link and we’ll automatically refund your entry fee, whatever you paid, we’ll refund it! Just find 5 friends and you get a FREE Unity Loop 5K entry!

All participants of the Unity Loop 5K will receive the following:

• Brooks Unity Loop 5K Podium Shirt

The Unity Loop connects the best of Seattle.  As Seattle prepares to welcome the world in 2026, the Unity Loop and its accompanying mobile app SEA&WIN provide residents and guests with a way to explore more of the small businesses, public art, restaurants, and cultural highlights that make the Emerald City sparkle.

Connecting the Stadiums, Waterfront, and Commercial Core with the Central District, Capitol Hill, Chinatown—International District, Pioneer Square, and SODO, the Unity Loop is a SeattleFWC26 Legacy Project to broaden the benefit of hosting large events so that more neighborhoods and more small businesses share the prosperity.

Soccer is a team sport, and the Unity Loop celebrates the remarkable team of people and communities that makes Seattle so special. Residents and visitors alike can get in the loop and connect with the best Seattle has to offer.
