DO NO REGISTER OR ATTEND IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IN THE PAST 2 WEEKS:
- fever, aches, cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, GI distress, loss or taste or smell.
- been exposed to someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 or had COVID-19 like symptoms.
- you yourself have tested positive for COVID-19 or are awaiting test results.
Registrations for this event are 100% refundable for individuals cancelling due to COVID-19.

Description
This is a real live running race. We have a 100 runner cap!
THIS EVENT IS SOCIALLY DISTANCED AND WILL BE CONDUCTED WITH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
Registration: $35 and includes gender specific tech shirt
- Participants must register in advance online.
- Runners will also self select a start time during the registration process.
- 4 runners will start every 5 minutes in a rolling start format (show and go, no waiting for official start)
- REGISTRATION IS FULLY REFUNDABLE if you cannot run or elect not to run as long as you notify the race before your start time (info@nsplit.com)
Important Communication:
- Runner communication will be via email and text messaging. Please be looking for both!
- If we communicate nothing else, please understand that you must follow social distancing, you must practice good hygiene, and if you have been exposed to COVID-19 you are not allowed at this event!
- The event location U District PT (730 N Hamilton) is not open for runners use.
Check-in:
- Location is: U District PT parking lot (730 N Hamilton St.)
- Check-in will occur outdoors 5 minutes before a runner’s start time (there will be no check-in lines. We are only checking in 4 people every 5 minutes!). Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your start!!! If for some reason you are late to your start, that is not an issue, you will still be allowed to run and we will work you into the start flow.
- Your bib number will be laying on a bib number table prior to your arrival. The staff member standing 15 feet away will check you in and you will grab your own bib physically distanced without any person to person contact.
- Ground tape will be placed to indicate physical distancing between between people.
RaceJoy App:
- We are strongly encouraging the use of the RaceJoy app... so much so, that we almost are saying it is mandatory.
- Please download the app prior to the race
- Before starting the race, make sure to input your bib number into the racejoy app. Your bib number will be sent to you via email ahead of time.
Start Logistics:
- Start location: U District PT (730 N Hamilton)
- 4 runners will leave the start area every 5 minutes.
- Runners will start in a rolling start format. Once you pick-up your bib number, proceed immediately to the start line and begin your race. There will be no official gun start, just chip times.
- Runners will be plenty physically distanced when starting.
- Runners are not allowed to run together unless they are from the same household.
- The start line and finish line will be two separate lines.
Course:
- All runners will start and finish at the U District PT parking lot (730 N Hamilton).
- Runners are strongly encouraged to use the RaceJoy app to follow the route with audio instructions for all major turns. Audio instructions can be played through your phone speaker or a single headphone. The app will also provide audible off course alerts to the runner if for some reason you make a wrong turn.
- Turns will be marked with tape ground arrows only.
- Runners will follow all traffic and pedestrian rules and will run on Centennial trail and Riverfront Park pathways. There is one side road crossing on the Centennial Trail near Gonzaga and it is still open to vehicles!
- No water stations will be provided on course. If you need water on course, take your own.
Finishing Your Race:
- Please grab your assigned shirt and leave the venue.
- Results will be sent via text message to finishers and posted on nsplit.com/results
- Bottled water will be available to grab and take with you.
Runner Etiquette:
- Keep a minimum of 6 feet between you and other runners at all times and preferably more when possible.
- Per Washington State governor orders ( Mask Order Page 2 ), masks are not required during the run as long as social distancing can be maintained. A runner may wear a face mask for the run if they feel more comfortable doing so.
- Do not run with anyone that is not part of your household.
- If you need to pass a runner, pass them quickly. If you get passed by a runner, please slow enough to allow for social distancing to occur quickly before resuming your pace. Think of this as a no drafting style run.
- If you must spit or snot rocket, please check your surroundings to make sure others are at least 30 feet away beforehand. Please do not do this on the runner path, but do this on non-pedestrian surfaces.
Toilets:
- Please relieve yourself before arriving at the venue.
- A portable toilet will be available for emergency use.
- If you must use the portable toilet, please use hand sanitizer before going into the toilet and hand wash upon exiting the toilet.
- No toilets or water will be available inside of U District PT.
