The Washington-British Columbia Chapter of the American Fisheries Society is pleased to announce our upcoming 2017 Spawning Run held at Hotel RL in Spokane, WA on April 11th. Please join us for a run or walk around Riverfront Park at 11 AM, the proceeds of the Spawning Run benefits the WABC Chapter of the American Fisheries Society. The spawning run is part of the Chapters annual conference which is a venue at which biologist can share their research and network. More information is available at http://agm.wabc-afs.org/
TImes will not be taken, apologize for the change. First place for each man and woman will be awarded!
If you don't want to run, participate in the Carcass Crawl, walk 1.75 miles around the park!
The first 100 registrants will receive a water bottle!
The race will start on the south side of the Hotel RL at the foot bridge and finish in the Havermale Meadow in Riverfront Park.
The mission of the Chapter is to: 1) advance the conservation and intelligent management of aquatic resources within a context of sound ecological principles, 2) gather and disseminate information pertaining to aquatic science and fisheries management, and 3) promote the educational and technical aspects of the fisheries profession.\

Pick up your water bottle and check in inside the hotel RL, look for signs! Check-in starts at 9AM.

Spawning Run Course
3.1 mile run along the river and head past Gonzaga and back (a volunteer will be statationed at the turn around) along the south side of the park!
