Virtual WCFP 5K Run/Walk for the Homeless

Now is a great time to get outside and go for a 5K Run or Walk to benefit the homeless youth in the Whitewater School District.

In April of 2019 the Whitewater School District reported they had 66 homeless youth. (Janesville Gazette). This is a staggering 3% of the student population for a small community.

Each participant will receive the following:

1. Race Bib - Print at Home

2. T-shirt

3. Finisher Wristband

Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female runners in each age group:  Under 14; 15-19; 20-30, 31-40; 41-50; 51-60; 61-70; and 70+

All you need to do is complete your 5K run or walk by June 21, 2020.  Once you have completed your 5K Run or Walk, please submit your results (we will send you an email on how to do this once you register).  Upon completion of your run or walk, we will mail you your swag bag. (please note:  you will have the option to opt of of getting a swag bag.  By doing so, the monies will go to help our homeless youth).

To add a little fun to this event, if you take a fun photo of you as you are running or walking, or when you finish, please post it to our Facebook page:  Whitewater Community Fundraising Partners.  We will pick 1 winner for the best photo and this person will receive a FREE basket meal from Culver's.

Once all results have been entered, medals will be mailed.
