Head on over to our website and check out the details of the event(s) there. We will keep those pages up to date with mileage and elevations that participants can expect to encounter on course come race day. Sign up here and make sure your USARA stuff is dealt with - then it's best to get RSVP'd on our site for those regular updates. If you are signing up closer to race day, check out the most up to date information and all our progressive updates there on the site!

We will say now that we plan to make the 5hour course 'bike optional'. Although this will hurt your chances of a podium finish, as an organization we understand gear and cost is a barrier to entry. If you can get a ride to the course on race day, we want you to be able to participate.

We are also happy to announce that one night of dorm-style lodging is included in your registration! Details are below, You can opt to purchase a second night during registration if needed. You will choose Friday or Saturday for your included lodging while choosing your swag and there will be an additional option to purchase the other night or a dorm style bed for a guest/ spectator.

Adventure racing is an off-road multidisciplinary sport that involves biking, paddling, running/trekking, and other special challenges, all while navigating with a map and compass (GPS is not allowed). It is a team sport in which groups of 2-4 racers must stick together for the duration of the entire event and cross the finish line together. Soloists as well will be allowed for both our planned race durations!
Every race course is different. Teams might do each discipline multiple times throughout a race and the order in which they are required to do them varies from race to race. Most often the official race course is kept a secret until the morning of the race, when racers arrive and are given maps detailing the locations (check points) they must navigate to, which order they must find them in, and which disciplines they will need to do during the event.

Hugh Harper Indoor Group Camp Lodging
The Hugh Harper indoor group camp is a modern facility designed for organized groups. The facility consists of a lodge and four dormitories. The lodge includes a full commercial kitchen, dining area and a recreation room with fireplace and television. The kitchen is equipped with a gas range (two ovens, six burners and a griddle), large refrigerator and freezer, microwave, commercial dishwasher, coffee maker and all cooking and eating utensils. Four dormitories accommodate 27 people each. Each dormitory has two bathrooms complete with showers, flush toilets and sinks. A sand volleyball court and softball field is located adjacent to the lodge. A large fire ring and amphitheater is located between the dormitories and lodge. A large charcoal grill is available just outside the kitchen.
We will sort out logistics on linens and recommended lodging gear and communicate that as part of race updates. We will provide some snacks and beverages, but details are still coming together. The group camp will also serve as HQ for both race lengths. The race day meal will be catered in the main kitchen.
