Fall Frenzy 5k

Onward Clintonville is a grassroots community program focused on the promotion and revitalization of downtown Clintonville. Onward Clintonville has established a core group of community members, business owners, area leaders, and representatives from the Clintonville Chamber and City of Clintonville that meets monthly to work on various program projects downtown and create a footing for our organization.

Last quarter, our members met and discussed what Onward will focus on for the next three years as we move into the next chapter of Downtown Clintonville. After several meetings, we narrowed the focus down to two transformation strategies:

• Convenience Goods & Services
  • Goal: We will grow Downtown offerings of Convenience goods & Services by helping to promote existing offerings, identifying outstanding community needs, and encourage entrepreneurs to locate themselves in Clintonville’s downtown district.
• Sports & Recreation
  • Goal: Connect outdoor activities and recreational features with supporting businesses and amenities in Clintonville’s Downtown district.
    We are hosting a 5K Run/Walk during the Fall Frenzy that will weave through our beautiful and historic Downtown.

Our hope is that this run/walk will help us raise enough funds to complete our in-progress projects and start new projects that fall into our transformation strategies action plans. By supporting Onward Clintonville, you are supporting downtown revitalization and instilling belief in our vision of cultivating vibrant downtown where people want to be.

Packet Pick-up 

Packet pick up will be held on Friday, September 20th from 4-6 pm at the Ice House Landing, Ice House Landing is located at the intersection of West 12th Street, North 12th Street and Hemlock Street and the morning of the race, September 21st beginning at 8 am at the Hemlock Street Bridge.
