Description
2nd annual McCarthy Park Trail run. 18K and 9K trail races and a free 1K kids race. Proceeds will benefit “The Friends of McCarthy Park” who support many projects in the park each year. The proceeds from this run will help fund winter activities in the park.
Both the 9K and 18K trail runs will follow the same route and will provide a fun and challenging course. McCarthy Park is a Dane County Conservation Park with prairie, woods and wetlands. The run will take you on trails throughout all areas of the park with hills, prairie and a short section of gravel road. Water stations will be provided on course.
Awards: Both Races Overall M/F winners, Age Group M/F top three <14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
