Description
Started by The Fredonia Lions in 1989 as a fundraising project for Fredonia area community organizations the Frebeka 5 Run - Walk was born.
This scenic course starts in Waubedonia Park following along the Milwaukee River to the charming hamlet of Waubeka. On the route, you will pass Stoney Hill School, the home of Flag Day, through beautiful farm fields and into the village of Fredonia. The finish line is in beautiful Waubedonia Park.
This beautiful but challenging course includes three hill climbs making the Frebeka 5 Mile Run "Wisconsin's Most Challenging Run." Our event is also a family affair providing a One Mile "Kid's" (Age 03 to 13) Fun Run, Two Mile Run and a One or Two mile Walk (Pets Allowed) all held in Waubedonia and Kraus Parks on flat safe park trails.
In over 30 years our Frebeka 5 Run/Walk has generated $ 68,507.00 in donations to the Fredonia area people and organization.
