Virtual 5k Run or Virtual 2-mile Walk
Hello fellow runners and walkers,
These last few months have certainly been trying times for many of us due to the COVID-19 health pandemic that we have had to deal with. There have been a lot of changes in our lives and decisions that have had to be made related to current and future events. At the end of the day, we want what is in the best interest of the community, therefore, we have made the decision to hold our annual "Stomp out Crime!" run/walk as a virtual event rather than an in-person event. Your health and safety is paramount and plays an important factor when planning an event like this.
Our virtual race fee is $20 and the fee will not increase. The virtual race fee includes an event T-shirt, along with a sticker.
A virtual run/walk event allows you the opportunity to run or walk anytime you wish (from 8/15/20-8/23/20), at any location you wish!

Join us virtually for the 4th annual Glendale Police Department 5k Run or 2-Mile Walk to raise funds for the Glendale Police Department Community Outreach and Crime Prevention Programs. Our police department is extremely involved in our community and we provide programs and events such as "Shop with a Cop", Citizen’s Police Academy, Chili Cook-Off, Community Bike Rodeo, teaching the D.A.R.E. curriculum to the 5th grade students at Glen Hills Middle School as well as the "Officer Friendly" Program at Parkway Elementary School. It is through events like our annual 5k run that we are able to fund these programs and continue to provide these services to the residents and children of our community.
We welcome runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to participate in the virtual 5k run or 2-mile walk.
Event Schedule:
You run or walk anytime you wish between (12:00am) Saturday, August 15th, 2020 to (11:59pm) Sunday, August 23, 2020.
Course:
You can run or walk anywhere you wish! There is no designated run/walk location.
Registration Fees:
The cost of the registration is $20 and will not increase. The registration fee includes a T-shirt and sticker.
*Register by July 30th, 2020 in order to be guaranteed a T-shirt (Gildan DryBlend). We cannot guarantee you will receive a t-shirt if you register after July 30th, 2020.*
PACKET PICK-UP:
Starts on Monday, August 10th, 2020 through Sunday, August 23rd, 2020, during regular business hours. (8am-5pm):
