Description
This is a training mileage challenge to see how many times you can run down the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The virtual start this year is in Gills Rock and you will head south to Pleasant Prairie. It is approximately 228 miles and we want to see how many times you can do that distance between June 12 - November 25, approximately 167 days, just shy of 24 weeks. This is your own personal challenge that you can enter in your training miles running, walking, hiking, etc. Your main goal is staying active and healthy.
Participants will receive a medal commemorating their "Shoreline X 2" (456 miles), "Shoreline X 3" (684 miles) or "Shoreline X 4" (912 miles) training accomplishment.
In order to hit your shoreline challenge goals, this is what you will have to do
2x - 19 miles per week or average 2.73 miles per day
3x - 28.5 miles per week or average 4.1 miles per day
4x - 38 miles per week or 5.46 miles per day
