The Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce is happy to invite you to join them for another Musky Fest 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run! This is a locally sponsored event starting at 8:30 am. Also, don't miss out on the FREE Minnow Run on Main Street & 3rd for all kids 12 years and under starting at 9:45 am!
The 73rd annual Musky Festival is Hayward's largest community festival celebrating Wisconsin's Northwoods and our great fishing tradition. The weekend includes the crowning of our Musky Festival Queen, sidewalk sales, large handmade art and craft show, live music, children's games, a car show, mouth-watering food booths, 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run as well as a Minnow Run for those 12 and younger, catch and release fishing contest, fishing photo contest, a carnival and large street dances featuring Midwest known music groups on Friday and Saturday nights, and so much more! The whole weekend concludes with the Grand Parade on Sunday down Main Street which is can't miss event.
Race Times
5K and 10K Races both start at 8:30 am sharp!
Registration and Packet Pick-up
All registrations on or before Friday, June 9th, 2023 will be guaranteed a T-shirt ($35.00)
Registrations post-marked June 10th, 2023 thru Race Day ($40.00)
*Packet pick-up (including race bibs) will be on Main Street Saturday, June 24th, 2023 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Race Day registration on the morning of Sunday, June 25th, 2023 ($40.00) will be closed at 8:00 am as the race starts at 8:30 am sharp.
**All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable**

*Award ceremony will be immediately following the race, about 10:15 am
NEW for 2023: Raffle Prize Giveaways! If you register for the event you will be automatically entered to win prize packages.
**New Moon and Icebugs are teaming up to enter anyone that registers for this year’s Musky 5k Run/Walk and 10K Run on Sunday, June 25, 2023, will be entered into a raffle to win a pair of Aura RB9X running shoes. The RB9X is a comfortable yet light running shoe for paved, trails, and gravel roads. A pair of men’s and women’s shoes will be given away, with winners announced after the run. **3 Adventure Prize Packages valued at $40-$50 donated by Hayward Area Memorial Hospital will also be drawn for.
Prizes will be awarded to the Top Male and Top Female finishers in each division
Prizes will also be awarded for a variety of age group winners
Those under the age of 13 are not eligible for awards
Age groups will be; 5K- 13-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71+ and 10K- 18-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+
