Description
Both the 10k and 2-mile races start and finish at Lakeside Park located on beautiful Lake Michigan. With a quick and scenic course, this race is perfect for the competitive runner as well as walkers, leisurely joggers, families, and kids. The 10k race treks along Lake Shore Rd to the turnaround point at the waters of Clark Lake and returns along N Cave Point Dr. The 2-mile event is an out and back course along Highway 57 and Lake Shore Rd.
Enjoy the quiet, serene beauty of Jacksonport on either route you choose to take!

Bottled water, gatorade, chocolate milk, bananas and bagels will be provided near the finish

Stick around after the race for the festivities around Maifest. Live music, food, and the art fair are going on in the park. The horse pull is also taking place by the softball field

All race proceeds benefit the Jacksonport Fire Department. You'll see members from the fire department working on the course to help keep the race a safe event. They are also our course marshals. We thank them for their service to our community!

Awards
10k Medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall Male and Female, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each Age Division: 17&under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Overall 1st, 2nd & 3rd place are excluded from age division awards.
2-mile run Medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall Male and Female.
MUST BE PRESENT FOR AWARDS.
Parking
Please use the parking lot by the softball fields, located on County V. Lake Park Dr will be closed and parking along Highway 57 will be restricted on Sunday morning.
What's allowed?
Strollers and dogs on leashes are allowed, however, please respect the space of others. We also ask that leashed dogs start toward the back.
