Description
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, APRIL 11 at 4:00 PM. SAME DAY REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN SATURDAY at 8:00 AM.
Join us on Saturday, April 12, 2025 for our third annual 5K event to benefit RVCP's Housing 4 Our Vets. The event takes place in Janesville’s scenic Riverside Park - the start & finish line is located at the North Pavilion. Registration & check-in is from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM. The first runners will start the course at 10:00 AM; walkers will begin after all runners are on the course. This event will be held rain or shine!
Professional timing will be provided by Race Day Events (RDE) for all runners. Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the men's, women's and youth divisions.

All registrants receive running bibs, t-shirts and finisher medallions with lanyard. Register before March 21st to guarantee your race t-shirt size.
Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc. (RVCP Inc.) is a private, non-profit agency that has been providing services in Rock County since 1971. Housing 4 Our Vets, a transitional housing program catering specifically to homeless male veterans, is situated on the Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc. campus. Established in 2011, this initiative has been steadfast in its mission to provide a stable and nurturing environment for veterans in need. Serving veterans in both Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, Housing 4 Our Vets partners with the Madison VA Hospital to extend its reach and impact. Accommodating up to 48 veterans, Housing 4 Our Vets offers a comprehensive support system for up to 24 months. This encompasses not only housing but also utilities (including cable and wireless internet), transportation options, three nutritious meals daily, and personalized case management tailored to each veteran's unique circumstances. The facility is equipped with everything essential for day-to-day living, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation. In addition to these vital services, Housing 4 Our Vets prioritizes the well-being of its residents by organizing monthly pro-social activities, creating a sense of community and engagement. Group therapy sessions are available, focusing on substance use recovery and essential life skills.
