Destination Kohler Sprint Triathlon - Presented by Sports Core

The race will begin on the beach of the newly expanded Inn on Woodlake, a Destination Kohler property.  Signage and volunteers will direct participants to the appropriate location from the Inn on Woodlake parking lot.  A shuttle bus will be available to transport participants from Sports Core to the start 25 minutes prior to race start.  Race start is 8:00AM.

New for 2019 will be a relay option.  Teams of 2 will be able to take on the event, one participant will complete 2 of the legs and the other will complete 1.

The swim will be a point to point swim in the private, non motorized Wood Lake.  The race transition area and finish area will be at Sports Core.

Post-race celebration will be located on the private deck of Sports Core overlooking Woodlake; music, light refreshments, and socializing.

The Course

Swim Course 0.3 Miles

The swim is in private Woodlake which provides a unique opportunity for spectators to view the entire swim along the trail that runs around the lake.  The start will be on the Beach behind the Inn on Woodlake, and the finish will be on the beach of Sports Core. Waves will go off every 3 minutes, beginning with elite and progressing through age groups. 

Bike Course 14 Miles : The bike course will travel west of Kohler on Greenfield Avenue which turns into County Road C in Sheboygan Falls.  Turning right (north) onto County Road M off of County C.  From M the route will travel east on the Old Plank Road Trail into Kohler on Highland Drive.  From Highland racers will finish the bike route by turning onto Woodlake Road back to Sports Core.

Run Course 3.1 Miles

The run will follow Woodlake road through the picturesque residential neighborhood just west of the lake, through the Kohler Arboretum before heading north along Woodland Drive, east along the Old Plank Trail back to the finish at Sports Core.

No music is allowed on the bike or run courses and helmets are required

Aid Stations

There will be one aid station with water and energy drink just outside the transition area, and another at the halfway point of the run.  Please bring adequate hydration with you for the bike portion.  SAG support will be provided, and a medical tent will be located at the transition/finish area.
