Half Marathon

6:00PM CDT - 11:00PM CDT
We regret that this race has been cancelled

New Date: TBD

Due to COVID-19 and uncertainty with the state slowly opening up, we regret to inform you that the 2020 Old Plank Sunset Half Marathon is canceled. The race committee discussed several options to try to hold this event, but as we depend heavily on local businesses, volunteers, and runners in close proximity to each other, we have decided to cancel the 2020 event. We also know with the everchanging rules, recommendations, and varying comfort levels that we would not be able to guarantee the caliber and quality of race that we would like to hold.
Registrants should have received a message in the email used to sign up for the race. If you have already registered, you have the following options:
1) Defer your entry to the 2021 race (Deadline to do this is June 30th)
2) Donate your signup fee to Sheboygan County Shoreline Striders to offset some of the expenses incurred prior to canceling (insurance, etc.)
3) Refund of your entry fee (not including any processing fees)

Thank you so much for your support of our event. Here is to running in 2021!

We will transfer your registration to the new event date once it is set (for next year), and look forward to having you join us. Thanks for your patience!

You understand that events are expensive, even when cancelled, and you want us to keep your registration fees to help cover our costs. We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

We understand. We hope you can join us next time.
