Abominable Snow Race

The Abominable Snow Race returns to Lake Geneva, WI on January 27, 2024!  ASR will once again be hosted in the hills and trails of Lake Geneva Zipline & Adventure Park.   

The 2023 course will be 4-6 Miles, 20+ Winter Themed Obstacles!  Race categories include:

1 Lap Race Categories:

• Elite/Masters:  First Heat 0800 (Cash Awards)
• Competitive Age Group:  0830 Heat (Awarded)
• Just for Fun Heats:  0900 - 1200 (No Awards)

2 Lap Race Category:

• Yeti's Challenge (2 laps - Medals):  AWARDED Heat 0800. 
  • The Yeti's challenge requires you to complete 2 laps of our Abominable Course. Complete the 2-lap challenge and Earn 3 Medals!
  • Earn 1 medal for each lap and receive the a 3rd Medal, the coveted 2022 Yeti Nation Medal
  • Racer's can continue on a 3rd lap if you wish, however the 3rd lap must start before 12p!  
  • Maximum of 3 Medals can be Earned.
• Yeti's Challenge (2 laps - Medals):  JUST FOR FUN Heats 0830-0930 
  • The Yeti's challenge requires you to complete 2 laps of our Abominable Course. Complete the 2-lap challenge and Earn 3 Medals
  • Earn 1 medal for each lap and receive the a 3rd Medal, the coveted 2022 Yeti Nation Medal
  • Racer's can continue on a 3rd lap if you wish, however the 3rd lap must start before 12p!  
  • Maximum of 3 Medals can be Earned.

All Racers receive a Finishers Medal, Abominable T-Shirt, and a Free Holzlager Craft Beer at the Finish (hot Chocolate Under 21). 

2023 ASR Awards:

• ELITE & MASTERS (Cash Awards)
  • Winner will be decided based on fastest time for 1 Lap!
  • Top 3 M/F Win $200 | $150 | $100 - total of $1800 in Cash Prizes
  • Ages 17-39 are Elite, Ages 40+ are Masters. First Heat - 0800.
• COMPETITIVE AGE GROUP AWARDS
  • Top 3 M/F in each age group awarded with ASR Medal.
  • Age Groups: <20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
  • Competitive Age Group Heat is at 0830 Male & Female.
• KING & QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN AWARDS
  • Top M/F Finisher in the Yeti's Challenge awarded with a Trophy and Medal!
  • Winner will be decided based on fastest time for 2 Laps!
  • Elite and Competitive Age Group can also Qualify for King & Queen Award!

Ages 8 and older can run the event.  Ages 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
