2024 National Junior Angus Show 5K "Glow" Run/Walk

Join us for the 2024 National Junior Angus Show 5K "Glow" Run/Walk, proudly presented by the Illinois Angus Auxiliary in collaboration with the National Junior Angus Show. Lace up your sneakers and join us for a great cause as we raise funds for our scholarship program. A portion of your entry fees will contribute to the "Angus Impact" program, supporting the Ronald McDonald House in Madison, Wisconsin.

This event isn't just for Angus exhibitors; we invite the public to join us as well. By opening our doors wider, we aim to shine a spotlight on the Angus breed and promote beef awareness. The race course will wind through the scenic grounds of the Alliant Energy Center.

Participants can expect a fantastic registration packet filled with goodies, including a vibrant t-shirt, delicious Build Your Base jerky, and a special American Angus Association item. Recognition awaits the top three runners in each category, so bring your A-game!

The excitement kicks off at 8:00 pm with our "Glow" run. Picture yourself jogging amidst a sea of glow sticks and necklaces—it's a race like no other. We can't wait to see you light up the night with your glow! Get ready to glow and join us on race day!

Check-in and packet pickup will begin at 6:30 prior to the race on the grounds of the Alliant Energy Center. Parking will be on the grounds as well.
