Description
Since 2007 this race has encompassed a beloved local loop known as the Arb Loop. This is a 10K loop that includes the beautiful landscape of the UW- Madison Arboretum. Once again MadCity will host the USATF 100K National Championship, along with the 50K Solo, 100K Relay, and 50K Relay.

USATF Membership
Membership in the USATF is not required to enter the MadCity 50K or 100K Solo race. To learn more about the USATF and membership, visit the website.
Course Information
The USATF-Certified 50K and 100K courses are comprised of 10K loops located along the shore of Lake Wingra adjacent to Madison's Vilas Park and winding through the beautiful UW Arboretum. The new 100K Relay can consist of 2-5 people.

The course will be open from the start of the 100K and 100K Relay at 6:30 AM for 14 hours until 8:00 PM. All runners must complete their race prior to the course closing time. If you feel you may need more time to finish, you can start early, you just need to notify the race director. However, you will not be eligible for placing, AG, or awards.
Directions
Enter from the East on Vilas Park Drive. Note that Vilas Park Drive is now closed to automobile traffic between the Vilas Shelter parking lot and Edgewood Avenue.
