Good eye. It is not free, nor is the event public. You must buy an event ticket for it from Gamehole Con (which means you must be a badge-holding attendee of that convention) to participate. Registering here simply saves you time at packet pickup by providing us with your typical 5k Fun Run registration details.
7AM is what time we expect to be set up and ready to start. The music will be playing, we'll be checking people in, etc. The run itself starts at 7:30. The differential is to let people have time to find the place and get themselves ready to run!
Olin Park. In the grass between John Nolen Drive, Edgewater Court and Lakeside Street. If you are walking in from the direction of the convention, just keep coming along the Capital City Trail, past the trailhead parking lot and the boat launch.

This is a private event for attendees of Gamehole Con who have signed up for it at event registration.
