20-Mile Spirit Walk
10-Mile Spirit Walk
6-Mile Spirit Walk
Event Description
The Spirit Walk is a personal challenge with a shared purpose.
Choose your distance — 20, 10, or 6 miles — and follow a path that moves through Madison’s neighborhoods, parks, prairies, woodlands and natural spaces.
Challenge yourself. Walk together. Give hope.
This is not a race. It is an opportunity to step onto the path, embrace the challenge, discover what you are made of, and see what you carry back with you.
Proceeds support Mundo Esperanza’s Community Hope Fund, helping communities turn locally identified needs into meaningful projects that improve lives and create opportunity.
What to Expect
8:00 AM — Step Onto the Path
The Spirit Walk begins at 8:00 AM sharp. Come ready to walk, explore and embrace the challenge.
Mile 10 — Rest, Refuel & Regroup
At Mile 10, we'll take a lunch break to rest, refuel and hydrate. Food and drinks will be provided, and we'll be joined by those taking on the 10-mile Spirit Walk. More spirits join the path as we continue toward the finish.
Mile 14 — More Spirits Join the Path
At Mile 14, our 6-mile walkers will join us for the final stretch toward the finish.
Along the Way — Refuel & Refresh
The route passes several public bathrooms and rest areas, with opportunities to stop, refresh and keep moving.
The Spirit Walk Feast — Finish
At the finish, we'll gather for a Spirit Walk Feast, with brats, food, conversation and a chance to celebrate together.
