Dairy Dash 5k Run/Walk and Kid's Milk Mustache Dash

On Saturday October 26 2019, join the Farm Discovery Center at the inaugural Dairy Dash 5K Run/Walk and Milk Mustache Dash in Manitowoc, WI.  The event will feature a 5K run/walk, a kids Milk Mustache Dash, information about Refueling with Chocolate Milk, a tour of the Farm Discovery Center, local and state dairy businesses and organizations, and dairy products for attendees. 

            The day starts with a family-friendly 5K race around the countryside in Manitowoc County, beginning and ending at the Farm Discovery Center at 9 a.m. There will be prizes and plenty of chocolate milk for the racers. Stick around for a tour of the Farm discovery Center and a kids race that starts at 10:30am! It’s an opportunity to meet people in the dairy industry, learn about Wisconsin Agriculture, enjoy some dairy products, and more!

The cost for the 5k includes a ticket to the Farm Discovery Center! Cost for adults to register is $15 until October 19th and then will go up to $20. Registration is available until 7 p.m. on October 24th. Registration will be available on the day of the race 7:30a.m. - 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Farm Discovery Center. Please come early.  Race packet pick up will begin at 8 a.m., also at the Farm WI Discovery Center. 

Being able to connect with the consumers and individuals interested in learning more about the dairy industry, while highlighting the health benefits of dairy consumption for building strong bones and post-workout recovery, is the perfect opportunity to bring together families, friends, and farmers.  It is our intent to create awareness about the Wisconsin dairy industry, promote a healthy and active lifestyle, and educate consumers and the general public about dairy.
