Beer Garden 2.62 Mile Run&Walk-Menomonee Falls Downtown

This "mini-marathon" of 2.62 miles is a fresh take on running and walking events that offers many unique and custom features. Trust us, you've not done a run/walk like this before!

What you'll recognize:

• A safe and timed course open to all ages and abilities
• A fun running shirt for all participants commemorating your efforts 
• A free beer or soda at the finish

What makes us more fun:

• $100 gift cards to Menomonee Falls businesses awarded to top overall Female and Male finishers and to top Female and Male finishers over age 50!
• Prizes purchased from local Menomonee Falls merchants awarded to 20 random participants 
• Prizes based on categories determined by a panel of judges and not on age group time finishes
• Some examples of finisher prize earners could be "flashiest shoes" or "first to cross the line pushing a stroller"
• Unique distance makes this an event for everyone

It is our goal to change the long held narrative around run/walk events and make this event a celebration of the community that has welcomed us. We are doing away with cheesy medals ordered from very non-local vendors. Our prizes will all be sourced from people who live and run businesses in the community. We are offering a shirt produced by a Wisconsin vendor to all registrants but you can opt out and save $5. 

Awards are inclusive. The top finishers will be guaranteed our highly sought $100 gift cards but every single person who shows up can potentially receive the other prizes. Runners and walkers alike will have the opportunity to take home swag. 

So please join us for a run or stroll in picturesque Menomonee Falls. The 2.62 mile distance starts and finishes in Village Park with a scenic route past the Lime Kiln. This is an evening run that partners with Downtown Menomonee Falls Beer Garden and your registration includes a beer after the event. Bring your family and friends to join the fun. 

There is a shorter run for the kids and it's free to all 12 and under if a parent is registered. Kids who participate in the .26 mile event will receive a coupon for a free bag of popcorn at the Optimist Club Popcorn Stand set up in the park.

The 2.62 mile Run/Walk begins at 6:30 pm in front of the Amphitheater in Village Park. It's an out and back that highlights the Lime Kiln.
