Description
Join us on Saturday, June 17, 2017 for the 1st Annual Clara Depies Memorial Run to raise awareness for Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. Proceeds from this family friendly event will go to The Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) Foundation. We welcome runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to participate in either the 5K run or 1 mile or 3 mile walk.
Event Schedule:
8:00-9:30am: Race day registration and packet pickup
10:00am: 5K Run/Walk
10:15am: 1 Mile Walk
11:15am: Awards
Course:
The 5K run will be chip timed and will start and end in Old Heidelberg Park at The Bavarian Bierhaus, utilizing the Oak Leaf Trail. The walkers will also start and finish at the 5K run start and finish.

2/1 to 3/31 - $35
4/1 to 6/14 - $40
Race Day - $45
PLEASE NOTE: ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON JUNE 14! YOU MAY STILL REGISTER AT THE PACKET PICKUP AT THE BAVARIAN BIERHAUS ON JUNE 15 OR 16 OR AT THE EVENT ON JUNE 17.
*Children under the age of 5 are free, however they must be registered (t-shirt not included)
*Register a Group/Team of 8 or more and receive $5 off the registration fee per participant
*Includes post race beer for finishers over the age of 21
*Register by June 6, 2017 in order to be guaranteed a t-shirt
*Optional post race brunch can be purchased for $15. Brunch will include: eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage links, and orange juice. $5 from each brunch purchased goes directly to The SUDC Foundation. (To select this option, make sure you register before June 7.)
AWARDS:
Medals will be awarded to the first overall male and female, and to the top finishers in various age groups for both male and female - runners only. There are no separate awards for the walk.
POST-RACE REFRESHMENTS:
There will be light refreshments available for finishers following the race in Old Heidelberg Park. Additional food will also be available for purchase.
