Description
Have you ever wanted to race around your city at night? Running from landmark to landmark; do you take the alleyway, go over the bridge, or do you know a shortcut? It’s your choice as you and your partner navigate the city.
You’ll start and finish at Lakefront Brewery, and you’ll have 3 other mystery stops to make. We’ll divulge those spots the day of the event and you can try and plan your route in that short time. Do you stick with your gut or do you follow the people ahead of you?
We will have professional photographers at the stops and get you some badass photos and content to share with the people you care about the most. We’ll have a free beer and some prizes for you when you return to Lakefront as well as a chance to try out On’s fastest shoe, the Cloudboom Echo, or their speedy daily trainer the Cloudflow. Prizes for the fastest teams as well as for team spirit!
Requirements will be to wear vests that light up, or a retroreflective vest and flashers on both front and back as well as everyone will be required to wear a headlamp. You’ll also be asked to follow all laws and road crossings. By signing up you are agreeing to this and anyone found to be violating the rules will be subject to forfeit.
What's the route? Alley-Cat Style?
You make up the route! You have a few touchpoint you HAVE to go to, but how you get there is up to you.
The total distance should be around 4-4.5 miles depending on how efficient you are!
Safety In Numbers. Teams of Two
Teams of two are better for everyone, especially at night. If you don't have a partner, don't worry! We'll help you find someone.
Both Team Members Need To Register
If you are signing up as a team you'll be able to write who you want as your teammate. Just make sure both people are registered!
