About

Join Project Bubaloo at American Family Field for The Ultimate Heart Race 5K Run/Walk. Nearly 40,000 infants in the U.S. are born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) every year. CHD is the most common birth defect and the leading cause of infant death due to birth defects. Project Bubaloo is a Milwaukee-based non-profit with a mission to spread CHD awareness and fund research.

At Project Bubaloo we believe that our CHD community is stronger together. Our goal with this event is to not only support our own mission, but to also collaborate and support other 501c3 CHD advocacy groups. When you sign up for The Ultimate Heart Race, you can participate and fundraise for Project Bubaloo, or you can join one of our collaborative partner's teams and raise money for their specific mission. Please note under the description of these teams they will be identified as a collaborative partner. All collaborative partnerships are approved by Project Bubaloo. All other teams fundraising will support Project Bubaloo's mission.

Family friendly 5K Run/Walk at American Family Field on 9/14/24

7:30am: Yount Parking Lot Opens

8:45am: Opening Ceremonies in American Family Parking Lot

9:00am: Runners start

9:10am: Walkers will follow runners

10:00am: Medal presentation

Medals will be awarded to overall 1st place male and female and top two by age per gender for the following age groups: 1-8, 9-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

10:00am-12:00 After Party

Featuring: music, snacks, bounce houses, glitter tattoos, magician, balloon twister, refreshments from Inmoxicated, MKE fire department, CPR demonstration by Project Adam, Marquette College of Nursing Blood Pressure check station, WKP event swag station, and variety of other activities with CHD vendors
