315 spots left. Registration ends November 28, 2024 at 10:00am CST
Information
Did you know that the average American consumes 4,500 calories on turkey day? Join us for a fun-filled 5K/10K on turkey day to help you burn off some of those calories before your tryptophan induced nap. Whether you're a super fast runner looking for a new PR, or you just want to get out and walk with the family, this course is for you! Remember, kids can race our Kiddo's 1K race for $5 and all the money is donated to the Oconomowoc Christmas Lights Fund! Bring the whole family.
We encourage you to create a team or join a team during the registration process. Teams with 5+ members will have the packets together and set aside for super fast packet pickup! How to create a team.
The Oconomowoc Great Gobble Wobble 5K & 10K is part of the Wisconsin Chilly Willy Run Series.

Parking
Street parking is available throughout the residential neighborhoods near Fowler Lake Park. There is NO PARKING at the start/finish line and no vehicles will be allowed to enter Fowler Lake Park. We are expecting over 1,700 participants for this race. Please plan ahead, car pool, and arrive early keeping in mind you will need to park and walk to the start/finish line.
Another option for parking is to park in the City of Oconomowoc Fowler Lake Parking Lot on the south side of Fowler Lake. There will be plenty of parking available in this lot on race day and the start/finish line is only a short 10 minute walk from this parking lot. Oconomowoc parking map.
Course
The course will begin and end in the park. Runners will head north at the start and run on city streets through residential neighborhoods. Before returning south to the finish. 5K runners will complete 1 loop and 10K runners will complete 2 loops of the course.
Please be aware that the 10K course is about 1/4 of a mile short -- this decrease in distance was necessary in order to allow for a safe 10K turnaround location. Strollers are permitted.
Aid Stations
There will be one aid station on course. The 5K runners will pass the aid station twice. 10K runners will pass the aid station four times.
T-Shirts
Everyone who is registered by 11:59 am, Friday, November 15 will be guaranteed a custom cotton unisex Gobble Wobble T-shirt. After that, T-shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis. About T-shirts.
